Vanmorgen hebben we een soort van uitgeslapen, we werden pas om 8.30 uur wakker. Na een lekker ontbijtje hebben wederom via Zoom een presentatie gehad “history of the Magellan Strait” (de verbinding tussen Atlantische oceaan en de Stille oceaan. Punta Arenas bevindt zich halverwege deze staat.
Na de lunch gingen we op excursie naar Fuerte Bulnes, een 19e eeuws fort. Onderweg zijn we nog gestopt bij het geografische middelpunt van Chili.
Ter afsluiting van de dag gingen we uiteten in restaurant La Yegua Loca. Vier gangen diner en erg lekker. We kregen o.a. een groot stuk lam (lende) met risotto. Ook de passievruchtenmousse was erg lekker. Daarna op het gemak terug gewandeld naar het hotel.
