Vanmorgen vroeg gingen we voor de laatste keer aan land op South Georgia in “Right Whale Bay“. Om 6.00 kregen we de dagelijkse wake up melding. Om 6.30 uur ontbijt en om 7.30 uur stapte we op de zodiac. Die tijden voelen overigens niet helemaal als vakantie aan… Maar het was weer schitterend. Allemaal kleine zeerobben van maar een paar maanden oud, veel koningspinguïns en een prachtige waterval.
Bij de lunch hadden we stirfried noodles. We konden zelf het vlees, groenten en saus kiezen.
’s middag hebben we 2 lezingen bijgewoond over “Alien Invasive Species” en “Walvissen”.
Vandaag was de “brug” voor het eerst open omdat we Corona status groen hebben bereikt. Natuurlijk zijn we daar even gaan kijken. Fantastisch, de officier nam uitgebreid de tijd om alles te laten zien en uit te leggen waarvoor het dient en hoe het in zijn werk gaat. Hij was erg blij weer gasten te mogen ontvangen op de brug, 5 maanden hebben ze niemand live gesproken, alleen gezwaaid naar gasten vanuit het raam.
De komende 3 dagen zitten we weer op volle zee en zetten koers naar Chili.
